Living with Incest PAIN FREE

Hold on Pain ends
We all have different variations of PAIN in our lives.

Temporary pain like when you stub your toe or hit your “funny bone”. We know how we did it & usually over time, the pain subsides. Then there is the pain which tells us there is something medically wrong and we need to see a doctor. Such as hip or knee problems due to arthritis.

Finally, there is the pain which isn’t temporary and which cannot be medically, surgically repaired. The pain of Childhood Sexual Abuse and Incest. Yes, we can gain some relief through therapy and prescription medication. This pain is telling us to pay attention. There is work to be done. Healing can take place, over time, but action needs to take place on our part. WE are the ones working to “repair” this pain.

So today, I encourage you to take the steps to “heal” your pain of abuse. One of the ways I have learned is to SPEAK about it. Open my mouth and acknowledge that it is REAL TO ME. Your pain is real. How you feel about it is very real. You are good & beautiful and you deserve to be PAIN FREE.

The storm has passed. See the rainbow?
It’s beautiful. Life is beautiful.
And you are beautiful too.
